There is a unique magic in seeing a young woman realize her own versatility. One day she’s on the court, sweating and fighting for every point, and the next, she’s stepping into her first "Glow-Up" moment.

I had the absolute pleasure of getting a group of local high school volleyball stars ready for their Prom. These girls are powerhouses on the court, but for their big night, they wanted a look that felt soft, elegant, and—most importantly—natural.

At LAMIK, we believe beauty should never be a mask. It should be a reveal.

🎨 The "Natural Queen" Palette

When you’re young, you want your skin to breathe and your eyes to sparkle without looking "overdone." Here is the soft, mineral-based recipe we used for these athletes:

The Eyes: We stuck to earthy, shimmering tones. We blended Ashes for a soft depth, Golden Girl for a touch of warmth, and Cheesecake to highlight the brow bone.

The "Speechless" Pout: For one of our stars, we used Speechless Lipstick. It’s the perfect "Your Lips But Better" shade that provides just enough color for photos without feeling heavy.
The Glossy Definition: For another Queen, we wanted a bit more structure. We outlined her lips with Maple Lip Liner and filled them with Clear Slick Lip Gloss. This gives the lips a full, hydrated look that lasts through every dance.

Looking at these photos, you can see the shift in their posture. They aren't just "wearing makeup"—they are owning their beauty. They walked out of the studio ready to dominate the dance floor just as hard as they dominate the volleyball court!
