This look is high-impact, but with the right blending techniques, it remains sophisticated and flawless.
🎨 The Island Eyes Step-by-Step
Step 1: Natural Precision Brows We kept the brows clean and framed using Prudy Brow Define Powder. I used a natural skin-tone Brighten Crème to lightly highlight the brow bone and "clean up" the edges for a sharp, professional finish.
Step 2: The Tropical Eye
Base: Prep the lids with Brighten Crème to make the colors grab and stay.
Lid: Pack Tiffany Blue onto the lid for that vibrant "Island" pop.
Crease: Use the black tip of your Eye Décor Brush to blend Camouflage into the crease. This deep olive tone adds a sultry, earthy contrast to the bright teal.
Step 3: Dual-Toned Liner Line the upper lid with Onyx Liquid Eye Liner for sharp definition. For the lower lid, use Denim n' Diamonds with the Duet Brow Brush to add a smoky, navy finish.
Step 4: The Lashes On the runway, we go big! We used Full Volume Strip Lashes in Long. (Note: For Danielle's specific look here, we also used a set of LAMIK Some Length Individuals for extra customization).
Step 5: The Flawless Canvas Apply Brighten Crème to conceal, followed by Full Coverage Foundation. Set everything with True Mineral Powder.
Artist Secret: Under the eye should always be a little lighter than the rest of the face. This is vital for dark fashion shows or events with moody lighting—it keeps the face looking lifted and awake!
Step 6: The Sunset Glow (Cheeks) Contour the cheekbones with I-85 Contour Blush. For that sun-kissed finish, apply Orange Blitz Eye Décor (yes, it works as a gorgeous blush!) to the apples of the cheeks.
Step 7: The Nude Lip Prep the lips with a touch of Brighten Crème, outline with Maple Lip Liner, and finish with She Woman Healthy Lip Gloss for a soft, balanced pout.
💡Pro-Tips:
The Cleanup: When doing a heavy, pigmented eye look, I always clean under the eyes with a bit of toner before starting the face makeup. This catches any "fallout" and keeps the skin look fresh.
The Blend: Your Eye Décor and Brighten Crème should blend seamlessly while still giving the eye a pop. The goal is for the blush to look like it’s glowing from within the skin, not sitting on top of it.
💡Timeless Truth:
"Makeup is like a vacation for your face. You don't have to be on an island to feel like a tropical queen. When you use colors like Tiffany Blue and Camouflage, you're bringing that island energy and confidence with you wherever you go."
Always check the ingredients before using a new product. Your skin is the largest organ. Remember, some of what you put on your skin can be absorbed into your bloodstream
