Here is the step-by-step guide to achieving this versatile and stunning look:

Step 1:

Brows – Define, Don't Darken

Start with a well-groomed brow, keeping the look soft and natural.

Use the DUET BROW BRUSH to lightly fill your brows with your natural hair color using PRUDY BROW DEFINE POWDER.
Use BRIGHTEN CRÈME (a shade lighter than your skin tone) to highlight the brows and clean up any stray hairs.

Step 2: Eyes – The Tan Base

This is where the "soft smokey" effect comes in—using warm, neutral tones.

Base your entire eyelid with Brighten Crème to help the shadows adhere and intensify the color.
Apply EASTSIDE (a soft tan or light brown shade) across your entire eyelid.
Place a small dot of GOLDEN GIRL (a shimmering gold) on the inside corner of your eyes to instantly brighten and open the look.

Step 3: Liner – Defined Edges

Define the eyes without overpowering the soft shadow.

Line the upper lid with ONXY eyeliner (a clean black).
Line the lower lid with DAZZEL BLACK eye décor (a subtle, sparkly black shadow or liner) for a gentle, smoked-out effect.

Step 4: Lashes – Volume

Apply a strip lash to the top lid for added drama.
Apply mascara only to your bottom lashes.

Step 5: Face – Smooth Canvas

Apply a primer and allow it to set into your skin.
Apply your foundation.
Set your entire base with powder for a long-lasting, photo-ready finish.

Step 6: Cheeks – Contour & Highlight

For this soft look, we skip blush and rely on shape and glow.

Apply a dark contour color along your cheek contour line (under the cheekbone).
Highlight your cheekbone with a golden bronze shade to provide lift and luminosity.

Step 7: Lips – Simple & Versatile

When you aren't sure what color you'll be wearing or don't want a high-maintenance look, simple is best!

Line your lips with a deep brown lip liner.
Top the entire lip with a neutral lip gloss—we used LAMIK Important Glow Gloss for the perfect shine.
