The secret to a flawless contour isn't a heavy kit—it’s actually in your foundation.

The Foundation Rule

Before you begin, you must have your perfect match. At LAMIK, we specialize in Custom Blend Foundation, ensuring that every woman has a shade that disappears into her skin.

To create dimension, we use the "1-2 Rule":

Highlight: Use a foundation 1–2 shades lighter than your skin tone.
Contour: Use a foundation 1–2 shades darker than your skin tone.

The 7-Step Reveal: Your Guide to a Sculpted Look

The Prep: Always start with a clean canvas. Cleanse, Tone, and Moisturize your face to ensure your makeup glides on smoothly and stays fresh.

Step 1: Brows

Frame your face first. Use your LAMIK Brow Kit to define your shape.

Step 2: Eyes

Apply your chosen Eye Décor. Starting with eyes allows you to clean up any "fallout" before you do your face makeup.

Step 3: Liner

Define your eyes with your favorite liner for depth.

Step 4: Lashes

Add volume and drama with Show Out Mascara.

Step 5: The Face & Contour

This is where the magic happens.

Conceal: Apply your skin-tone Sculpting Crème under the eyes and over any dark spots.
Brighten: Apply your lighter shade to the bridge of your nose, between your brows, and the center of your forehead.
Shadow: Apply your darker shade under the cheekbones, on the temples, and down the sides of the nose.
Blend: Apply your Custom Blend Foundation on the inside of your face and the darker foundation on the outer edges. Blend together for a seamless transition.
Set: Apply your True Mineral Powder all over. Use a slightly lighter powder under the eyes for extra brightness.

Step 6: The Cheeks

Reinforce your contour by placing a matte brown blush (or a darker True Mineral Powder) directly under the cheekbone. Finish by highlighting the tops of your cheekbones with a hint of bronze for a healthy glow.

Step 7: The Lip

Finish your look with whatever lip color fits your mood today!
