The Road to My Best Brows Ever

Honestly? I thank God for my brows! Growing up, I did everything in my power to destroy them. Between the trends and the over-tweezing, I really shouldn’t have any hair left at all.

But once I became disciplined and stopped "over-doing" them, they finally grew out. Now? I have GREAT brows. If you are struggling with yours, don't worry—there is hope!

5 Easy Steps to Great Brows

Getting the brows of your dreams requires patience and the right tools. Here is my expert formula:

Leave them alone. (I mean it!)
Go to a Brow Tech to have them professionally shaped.
Use your LAMIK Brow Kit to shape and fill them daily.
LEAVE THEM ALONE. (No "boredom tweezing" at home!)
Visit your Brow Expert every 2 weeks for a clean-up, and follow up with your LAMIK products.

The Golden Rule: PLEASE Blend Your Brighten Cream!

If you are using a highlighting cream to make those brows pop, you must blend it in! A sharp, unblended highlight is okay for a heavy, full-face glam look, but for a natural look, it will make your brows look "too made up."

For the Natural Look: If you don't want a heavy powder look, just use your LAMIK Brow Define Powder (it comes in 5 shades!).
The "Secret" Hack: If your brows look a little messy but you want to stay natural, use your foundation to define the edges and cover stray hairs instead of a bright concealer. Set it with your brow gel and you're good to go.

What to Expect at the Studio

Your wax tech should always take their time. When I work with clients at LAMIK, we use a Chocolate Cream Wax. Not only is it healthy for your skin, but it smells beyond wonderful!

Expert Insight: Taking the wrong hairs can actually change your entire face shape. This is why you should always go to a professional to remove hair.

Discipline is Key

In between your wax appointments: DO NOT TOUCH YOUR BROWS. Removing hairs yourself will keep your brows from growing into the desired shape.

If those stray hairs are bothering you, don’t reach for the tweezers! Instead, apply your LAMIK Sculpting Cream (in a shade close to your natural skin tone) or your foundation over the extra hairs to hide them until your next appointment.
